A challenging and exciting opportunity in now available for a Nurse Manager Emergency Services with a well-regarded organization. 

A 400-bed hospital in South East Texas is seeking a Nurse Manager Emergency Services to become an essential leader in their state of the art emergency department.  Reporting to the Emergency Services Director, the Nurse Manager Emergency Services will oversee a 37-bed Emergency Department and Level IV Trauma Facility.   

The Nurse Manager Emergency Services will work closely with the Director of Emergency Services to identify areas of improvement and will act as a key resource in the implementation of quality improvement strategies, department policy and financing for growth.  The Emergency Services Nurse Manager is responsible for monitoring and evaluating key outcome measures specific to the Emergency Department such as LWOT, LWBS and average wait times.  Transformational leadership ability is especially important to the Nurse Manager Emergency Services as they will be expected to utilize a shared governance model to continually improve quality of care, patient satisfaction and employee retention. 

The Emergency Services Nurse Manager will be well supported as this Hospital is part of a large health system that is well established in the immediate area.  This Medical Center offers a wide variety of Emergency Care including Level IV Trauma designation, Emergency Chest Pain Accreditation, and an innovative triage patient flow that helps maintain minimum wait times.
